Dan Kauffman Excavating (DKE) was established in 1981 and has been happily serving Lincoln, Tillamook, Polk, and Yamhill counties ever since that time.  In the following decades, Dan Kauffman opened two more companies, D.K. Quarries and Central Coast Ready Mix, to join the effort to provide honest service for all of your site work, excavation, riprap/seawall, underground utility, rock, and concrete needs at a reasonable price.

This honest obligation is evident in our repeat clients, our good relationships with fellow contractors in the surrounding areas, and in the ethics and professional manner we operate in.  A glance at the equipment we use to supply your needs shows that it is not our worry how we look, but only how we operate year after year.

Our Team

Dan Kauffman, President

Dan Kauffman started working with his father, Morris Kauffman, as a boy.  This brings 50+ years of excavating and quarry experience in Lincoln, Tillamook, Yamhill, and Polk counties.  Dan started his own excavating company in 1981 and soon added several quarries and a concrete ready mix plant to provide as many materials and services as possible to the area.

Dan's working knowledge gives him respect and credibility with city, county, and state agencies.  His long-term professional relationships with these agencies provide respectful communication on both sides.
